Movesense is an open development platform for quick creation of wearable and attachable sensor solutions, developed by the Finnish sports watch expert Suunto.

Movesense platform includes a programmable movement & heart rate sensor, attaching accessories, and developer assets for building your own sensor applications and compatible mobile apps. Sample apps for the sensor and mobile phone enable raw data collection and demonstrate how the sensor data can be processed and stored on the sensor and on a mobile device.

The system is based on REST API’s. The sensor programming language is C++. The sensor is water and shock resistant and suitable for a large variety of use cases in sports, wellbeing, research, and more. Read more about Movesense at www.movesense.com.
